Okay, I bought this game but it won’t load on my mac. It’s either that I don’t have enough space or it’s a scam. But I like this game because I saw sick videos of it, and it looks pretty cool.

I need my money back. Now ! ! ! It doesn’t run

I was very worried about getting this after reading all the reviews about all the problems people were running into when they tried to play this. I had inquired to Apple about why people are having so much difficulty when playing games that require high end graphics. The iMac computers and just about all of the Apple computers IMO have incredible graphics the best I have ever seen. That is why I bought one. Anyway, just a few days ago Game Agent which I highly recommend that if you don’t have it to get it. Game Agent released a blog that gave very good instuctions on how to stop Mac computers from crashing when playing games! I am so thankful that game agent did this, either there were a lot of complaints about this issue or they have the ability to read thoughts. I dont know but I followed the directions and went ahead and bought Max Payne 3. I have to say that this is indeed a great game if not one of the best ever that Rock Starr has made. It runs great on my 27 inch iMac. I checked out all the specs to make sure it would run thanks to Game Agent. I love this game, it plays just like a cinematic film. Max to me looks kinda like an older John Ham, and Bruce Willis combined. I look forward now to playing a lot of the games I have wanted to now that game Agent has explained what to do if your computer crashes. A lot of it has to do with trying to play games with a much older sytem or just needing to adjust some settings and cleaning out some caches that I didnt now you could do. Anyway I hope this will also help you if you are having problems running games. Again thank, thank you Game Agent for that blog!

Despite the reviews that I’ve red, I decided to buy the game I got Macbook Pro Retina late 2013 The game is working fine, but there are a lot of graphic glitches, smoke and bullets appear in black, which makes it impossible to play the game I’ve googled the issue, and found out that many users have the same porblem Please update this version

Well apparently it hates my Mac because it starts up normally but when there is sound like the bullets then the popping of the painkillers with the “R” logo for rockstar that indicates that its gonna be buggy like it frezzes during gameplay and everything else for 30 seconds giving me only lie 2 min. of gameplay between freezes IT’S STUPID! PLEASE PLEASE get this fixed NOW! So that i can play normally again. Also when there is no sound during the logo showing that indicates that it’ll work fine. The reason I believe is behind alll of this is from the first crash, but on the second crash and PC restart everything was fine until I closed MAx Payne 3 then it all started over again so get this fixed before I brutilate my poor Mac ASAP!

Despite the negative reviews, I purchased this game with the confidence that my brand new iMac w/16G of memory and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1024 MB graphics card would be able to handle it. Even used GameAgent to confirm it would play, prior to purchasing. Woke up this morning after allowing it to download overnight, excited to play my new game. However, since clicking on the Application, it has done nothing but hang. I can still use the computer, but cannot QUIT, am not given the option to FORCE QUIT, and the game interupts the restart and shut off commands automatically so I cannot even reboot. My only recourse at this point seems to be pulling the plug! Great game (I hear) . I want my money back please.

On iMac with a 4GB graphics card and 24GB ram it crashes as soon as it hands over from the first cut screen to game. I want my money back.

Game will not launch.. Have to force quit app. I want my money back! How do I get it Back??? 0 Stars! I have a brand new mid 2015 macbook pro with discrete graphics. The game runs just fine in Steam on my 2012 iMac with an GT 650M! Note: Does not run on the iMac either from the app store!

ZERO STARS. Do not buy this. It will not launch. Where is the support for this problem?

Like others, the game won’t launch for me. Of course Rockstar’s website has no mention of this current issue and no way to actually resolve it. I asked Apple for my money back. Hey Rockstar, if you had to take a guess, do you think I will EVER risk buying another game from you? In case you are as good at guessing as you are at creating games, the answer is no.
